We're Opening on Valleydale Road: Drip 280 Soft Opens at the End of August
After a long stretch of build-out, licensing, and getting every formula exactly where we wanted it, we can finally say it: Drip 280 is opening at 5291 Valleydale Road, Suite 133, in Birmingham. We soft open at the end of August.
If you live or work anywhere along the 280 corridor, Inverness, Hoover, Vestavia, or the neighborhoods feeding into all of it, you now have a doctor-owned IV therapy lounge a few minutes away instead of a drive across town.
What a soft opening actually means
A soft opening means we open the doors and start seeing people before we make any noise about it. Limited hours at first. A smaller number of chairs running. No banner, no balloons, no grand opening event.
We are doing it this way on purpose. The first few weeks of any medical practice are when you find out what your process actually looks like under real conditions rather than on paper. We would rather discover that with a handful of people we can give our full attention to than with a room full of them. Everyone who comes in during that window gets a slower, more careful version of the experience, which is exactly what you want when someone is starting an IV in your arm for the first time.
The full opening follows once we are confident everything runs the way it should.
What you can get on day one
The complete menu is live from the first day we open. That includes IV drips for hydration, recovery, immune support, energy, athletic performance, and expecting and new mothers. It includes vitamin boosters, which are quick intramuscular injections that take about five minutes if you want something targeted without sitting for a full drip. It includes NAD+, medical weight loss with physician oversight, and mobile concierge service that brings the drip to your home or office anywhere in the greater Birmingham area.
Every one of those options is already published on our full drip menu, with the complete ingredient list and the exact dose of everything in the bag. You can read all of it right now, before we open, before you talk to anyone. That is deliberate. You should be able to see what you are putting in your body the same way you can read the label on anything in your pantry, and we think it is strange that this industry does not always work that way.
Book your free intro now, not later
Here is the one thing worth doing today.
Every new client at Drip 280 completes a free intro before their first drip. It takes about ten minutes. We go through your health history, talk about what you are actually trying to get out of this, and help you land on something that makes sense. There is no charge and no obligation to book anything afterward. Once it is done, it is good for three years, and from then on you are welcome to walk in during business hours without an appointment.
You do not have to wait until we open to do it. Intros are bookable now. If you get yours out of the way in August, you are already cleared and ready to sit down in a chair the week we open the doors, instead of starting the process from scratch alongside everyone else.
Practically speaking, that is the difference between coming in and getting a drip, or coming in and filling out paperwork.
Why we built it this way
There is a version of this business that is much easier to run. Add a sauna. Add a cold plunge. Add a med spa menu and a membership that bundles all of it together. Spread the cost of the whole build across every visit and let people pay for amenities most of them will never touch.
We did not want to run that business. Drip 280 does one thing, which is IV therapy and boosters, and the person who designed every protocol in the building is the physician who owns it. Not a medical director contracted from another state to satisfy a requirement, which is how a great deal of this industry is structured. He built the formulas, set every dose, and is local and reachable when you have a question about any of it.
When the medicine is the entire business rather than one item on a longer menu, the pricing tends to follow honestly, because there is nothing else buried in it.
See you at the end of August
5291 Valleydale Road, Suite 133, Birmingham, AL 35242. Current hours are posted on the site and we will update them as the soft opening window firms up.
If you have questions before then, most of them are already answered in our IV therapy FAQ. Anything not covered, reach out and ask. And if you want to be ready the day we open, book your free intro now.
